Please find the hardship loan application form along with the policy and guidance notes attached to this email for your reference.

We also require your past 3 months bank statements (for all of the bank accounts that you have) with your application.  If you are working, we also ask for the past 3 months pay slips.

Before any hardship loan application can be discussed at a panel, we require your agreement to a repayment plan.
We usually set up the repayments to coincide with your maintenance loan payments (although you can repay monthly if you prefer).  Can you confirm if you have applied for a maintenance loan for the 2024/25 academic year.

Can you please confirm the repayable instalment amounts you propose to make (this is usually divided by the amount requested i.e. if you requested £300.00, the repayments would be £100.00 each instalment)

Applications must be sent to Student Finance by 10am on Monday morning at the latest.  After this, there is no guarantee that your application will be included in that week's panel for consideration.
